XRWholesale Releases Hitachi Wand Speed Control

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Fetish specialty manufacturer Extreme Restraints has released its external Hitachi Wand speed controller, allowing the user full control of the normally two-speed vibrator.

XR's James Medina told XBIZ that this controller is the only one he's seen being sold on the market and is a great opportunity for retailers to increase sales of an already classic adult toy.

"We move a lot of Hitachi Magic Wands and so we saw this as an opportunity," Medina said. "It's the iPod of sex toys."

The external controller consists of a 6-foot extension cord that allows the user a range of movement while using the Magic Wand, and Medina said the controller's smooth-turning dial transforms it from a two-speed massager to a vibrator with countless speed options.

"You can dial it very precisely to exactly the point that you want," Medina said.

XR is offering the speed controller at $19 at XRWholesale.com. The product retails for $38.

"[The Hitachi Magic Wand] is a thing that most people have and has the most compatible attachments for," Medina said. "We're excited because this is, for anyone that moves Hitachi Magic Wands, a great upsale for it."

Medina also said the controller can be used with other plugin sex toys that have only one of two speed settings.
